The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of 29 candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Election 2025. In a strategic move, the party has fielded several prominent leaders to contest key constituencies, setting the stage for high-profile electoral battles.

Parvesh Verma, a notable BJP leader and Member of Parliament, is set to contest from the New Delhi assembly seat, directly challenging Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and incumbent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. This matchup is anticipated to be one of the most closely watched contests in the election.

In Karol Bagh, the BJP has nominated Dushyant Gautam, aiming to strengthen its foothold in this significant constituency. Manjinder Singh Sirsa has been chosen to represent the party in Rajouri Garden, bringing his experience and influence to the campaign.
